If you suffer with sensitive skin then you may not only have a lot of questions, but a fear of receiving facial treatments. Before your facial service begins, a Health History intake form is reviewed along with a thorough skin analysis in order to determine the severity of sensitivity and determine your treatment options. Once the treatment options are determined, a patch test of the products to be used are administered and checked for any reactions. Only when the patch test turns out a negative reaction, we can safely move forward with the facial treatment.
The products we use for sensitive skin are specifically formulated for sensitive skin, have no fragrances, perfumes or preservatives and are considered safe and effective for this type skin.
ROSACEA
Rosacea is a chronic, but controllable skin condition involving inflammation of the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead and/or eyelids. It may appear as redness, prominent spider-like blood vessel swelling or skin eruptions similar to acne, but not to be confused or misdiagnosed with acne and has no known cure. PCA Skin has formulated a skin specific treatment for this particular skin type and is an excellent choice for helping calm Rosacea.
