Hello, my dear friends,
I just wanted to check-in and see how you are doing today? We have a lot of unknowns, but just remember that social distancing doesn’t have to mean isolation. It’s an opportunity to be present with our loved ones, start your spring cleaning and get outside for a walk or a hike. It’s also an excellent time for self-care.
Radiance Salon, with your health in mind…and a heavy heart, has closed our doors until further notice. April 9th is our target date for re-opening the salon, but at this point, we are all taking it day by day and hoping for the best! I have been busy calling and texting all of you that have appointments over the next couple of weeks to re-schedule.
I care about your mental state and emotional well being. I want to offer these simple tips to take care of yourselves during these uncertain times:
Remember that product you bought, but haven’t been a faithful user? Get it out. Now is the time to give it a try, pamper yourself! If you’re not sure what to do, reach out, and I’ll help.
If you’re running low on products, I am happy to coordinate shipping, quick pickup, or even delivery (if I can swing it) so you don’t go without. Email me if you are in need.
It’s normal to indulge in sweets and wine during stressful times. I’m giving you Permission and heck, I would join you if I could. If you do partake in any emotional eating, here’s a beauty hack. Put your eye cream in the fridge, and not only will it feel great, but you’ll also say goodbye to puffy eyes.
Use essential oils to elevate your mood. I recommend Elevate from DoTerra, it is a refreshing scent that can help elevate your mood and lift your spirit. Lavender is also one of my ultimate favorites for relaxation and easy to purchase. Thieves from Young Living or OnGaurd from DoTerra is a blend of essential oils, which includes clove, rosemary, citrus, eucalyptus and cinnamon bark. The rich and spicy aroma is said to help with immune support.
Take a hot bath. Throw in some pink Himalayan salt to enjoy the benefits of improved sleep, breathing, and detoxification.
Take breaks from watching, reading or listening to news stories and social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting. Get caught up on your shows, binge watch a new one, or connect with your friends/family instead.
Try tea. If your skin is starting to show the signs of stress, here’s a link to my newly found favorite tea which has Ayurvedic herbs to help give your skin and body a healthy boost.
And it’s decaffeinated and organic www.tessiesteas.com.
During these times, be sure to make time for self-care, love, and get outside! Enjoy the sunshine when you can and get your Vitamin D. It’s good for the brain, and thus, good for the soul!
If you have any questions, or just need an encouraging word, please reach out. While I may not be able to see you for a few weeks, your wellbeing is important to me, and I would love to help you in any way I can.

Heather Bailey

P.S Do me a favor: Leave your brows alone! Don’t pick your skin! Moisturize like crazy until we meet again. : )
P.P.S. Those fun chats we have in the treatment room don’t have to end because we are social distancing. I know how stress can make us look and feel, please reach out and let me know how I can support you. I am serious – reach out – any day, any time.
